Get ready for an electric night of real-deal blues, hosted by two of Houston’s most respected blues artists fresh off representing H-Town at the 2025 International Blues Challenge in Memphis.

Cris Crochemore is a Brazilian-American guitarist, vocalist, producer, and bandleader whose high-energy, soulful style has made him a go-to collaborator for some of the top voices in the blues world. Cris is a member of Diunna Greenleaf’s Blue Mercy band and has toured with Keeshea Pratt and Tweed Smith.

Marcelo Naves is a powerful blues harmonicist and vocalist from Brazil and part of Blue Mercy, one of the most distinguished blues ensembles in the U.S.

Together, Cris and Marcelo won the 2024 HBS Blues Challenge (Solo/Duo Category) and continue to be cultural ambassadors for Houston’s global blues scene.
